Chinese young people love premium imports for relax sip and gifts, but selling online got good and bad side.

Early time, we try put big effort on Baidu PPC and normal search ads for our bottles on Tmall. Wah, terrible experience lah! Search results full of fake sellers, copycat brands, price war super fierce. Keywords expensive like crazy, click many but conversion low because people search “cheap vodka” or “baijiu deal”, not premium quality like ours. Worse, algorithm hard to crack for foreign brand need local agency, tons paperwork, and still ads get bury under local giants.

We spend a lot money, but sales trickle only, feel like throw cash into drain. Very frustrating!
Then we switch focus to Douyin, and wah, total different world! Douyin search engine much better for our business. People there search for fun

-“nice cocktail idea”, “pretty bottle gift”, “premium gin unbox” more lifestyle, not just cheap price. Algorithm smart, push our short videos high if content good: show fancy bottle design, slow pour, mood lighting, gift wrap ideas. No need heavy ads budget; organic search plus viral clips bring traffic flood.
– Customers find us easy when type “import whiskey gift”, see our beautiful packs pop up first with real reviews and live demos. Sales jump 5x faster than old search way!

For spirits, Douyin perfect because young drinkers want see and feel the premium vibe before buy. Gift market especially boom here

-festival time, search “luxury alcohol gift” lead straight to our elegant bottles.
